If you say that something "destroys" something else you imply that it is vastly superior. Borderlands does look better on a PC but IMO not better enough to claim that it "destroys" console versions. That's my major gripe with this quote.

I think it does lol.

Comparing both versions side by side, the PC version is vastly superior in my opinion, even without FoV fix. I went back to the 360 version last night for some co-op with a friend who only has it on 360 and it was like looking at a 640x480 res game. Despite the fact I was playing it on the same monitor. (Still have my 360 hooked up to my PC monitor from when friends came over and we system linked and connected their console on the TV).

OK, I'm not going to argue since I did not do a side be side comparison :)

Considering how they botched even such basic things as proper FOV and ability to turn on Vsync using ingame menu, I find it quite unlikely - although I'd love to be proven wrong.

Widescreen support is native... not sure what you mean there. Th is added via ini tweak, which I agree they should patch so that isn't needed.

I personally think they should at least add in some basic video options in the console versions. There's like no choice other than changing brightness...

I'm a bit confused at the minute, I'd like to clear something up if it's all right with someone answering... Borderlands has a fully functional single player component? It doesn't have to be co-op/online?

Yeah you can go through the game single player only. There's no need to go through with other people or even with the other characters as the story remains the same no matter which character you pick. Only thing that changes with the characters are the skills you can learn and even then most of them are passive.

But definitely you can go through campaign single player.
