As we say in swedish "smaken är som baken, delad" :D

If i use a bit of common sence that has to mean something like "each his own taste".
Am i right? :)

Steefy, yea it means everyone has their own taste.

Translation:

"Smaken är som baken, delad." = "Taste is like a butt, split."

According to PlanetCNC (also on their front page, not just their forum), the game will fully support widescreen! :D

Indeed. The cheesy cutscenes are part of what make the C&C series so much fun.

I thought they were sorely missed in Generals.

I've gone back and played Red Alert 2 a fair amount pretty recently (widescreen ftw!) and it's been awesome. It's just as fun this time as it was when I first played it.

Oldskool 2d RTS games are way more fun then the 3d versions (generals).
There is just something to it that makes it cool.

And i totally agree that the cutscenes should really be there in Generals. :(

Btw, anyone remembers Tanyas "hahahahaha"
That was so cool. 8)

I always remember the commando from the original with his:

"I got a present for ya!" as he ran towards a building with C4 in hand :)

I'm very sceptical about C&C3 because it's by EA, and they release stuff in a buggy state way too early, normally. But that recent gameplay video actually looks quite neat.

So yeah, I do hope they make a great game, but I kinda doubt they will. It'll probably have crappy netcode, no good features for competitive online play, run at dodgy framerates, and not have widescreen support... :?

Supreme Commander, now that looks real promising...
