This is what Duke says about it...

The release date of this game is "When it's done". Anything else, and we mean anything else is someone's speculation. There is no date. We don't know any date. If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall who claims they know - they do not. They are making it up. There is no date. Period.

Duke Nukem Forever is using the Quake II Engine just so you get an idea...They just want to finish it.

At least they finally finished STALKER? Heh..

Finished watching the Microsoft conference, need to pick up Nintendo's.
Overall it was pretty good, most games look promising. The fact that they'll be out this year is great. I'm just itching for some Halo 3. :X

Apparently it uses the Doom 3 engine now.... but who knows.

Very Ironic situation indeed, it almost seems like it was done on purpose.

Yep, Same thing happened with prey, back in 97 they showed prey off they had it done. If they would have released it around then i bet it would have a following atleast half as big as half life. but no 7 years later they release it with the doom3 engine, it was a good game but the fanbase just is not there for it.
