Sorry guys ... I just found out that my high res textures look crap with HDR ... you are better off using the original shaja textures if you use HDR as mine become too bright.

Get the original shaja textures mod here ...

Of course this mod is useless for those of us who have to turn the view distance down because our 6800GT is being punished. :D

anyway to make it use different textures dependant on the time? i advanced 12 hrs outside from night to day, it reloaded the map.... or is that more game engine tweak?

It always reloads the map when you advance a long time... or it does for me...

yes, so im wondering if it does this to load different textures, night time, day time ones etc. Does it load up at all if you do a night/ day cycle? i havent spent the time on the game to see, only seen both states

Id imagine it would have to load new textures for the sky, but id hope that the lighting system uses the same ground textures and just properly shades them. It would be cheating otherwise ;).
