If they don't skimp on anything, it should have co-op over LAN since the original does.

I would kill them if it doesn't......

I still want a review before I even consider buying it. Console port memories still haunt me

Well, they are adding five whole new levels, so I don't see why they would not take advantage of DX10 as well, seeing as it isn't a straight port.

Anyone know a good example that shows what good stuff DX10 brings?

All the videos and such I've seen so far can pretty much be summed up as 'meh'.

They put the DX9 and DX10 parts side by side and I can't seem to see much difference.

By the way I was wondering, with Vista in always 3d, does that mean things like 2 clock sets for GPUs permanently work with the 3d clocks/loud fans?

If dx10 is mostly improved code performance, but to get it you half your performance by using vista, it sorts of defeats the purpose no?

pretty much 1+1-1 = still 1.

But have we really seen what DX10 can do? I remember the change from DX8 to DX9 was amazing, but later games pushed it even further (i.e. HL2's water, F.E.A.R.'s fire, etc.). I was disappointed with the DX9/DX10 comparison video (it was from Crysis, or at least the new CryTech engine, if I remember correctly), but I hope there is more in store for us down the road.

In all honesty, thought, there really isn't a whole lot of room for improvement visually. DX9 can make almost photo realistic renders, but the performance is greatly affected, mostly due to large textures and processing; if DX10 can improve the performance when using HQ textures, I think that would be enough.

key word...... video.

Lost World is night and day DX9 to DX10. And the framerate complaints in Vista were solved a couple of Nvidia drivers ago.

Well the other bonus is that DX10 can use a hell of a lot higher resolution, right? It opens up possibilities for a triplehead2go 6144x1536 solution. Of course, you would need a ridiculously fast GPU to push that res.
