There was news today about Crysis' multiplayer. They announced a mode called "Power Struggle" that sounds very RTS in some ways, as you basically have to level up your weapons through kills and capture factories. Even then you have to provide it with resources to make them with. The kicker is that to fully win a map and build up your team completely, it can take up to 10 hours. In game, this is weeks, as a full day/night cycle is 2 hours.


This seems like it could be a great LAN game, and would really push DX10 into adoption if done wel. What do you think?

This sounds like it will definitely make a nice addition to our local LAN parties. Next year can't come soon enough...
