I agree with Pyro, played the Check demo, had to translate just to bind keys. LOL It's not nearly as good graphically or in gameplay as Doom3. It has a cheap arcadish feel and not mood setting or inspiring at all. Games I'm looking at are CoD4, Crysis, TimeShift, and Far Cry 2. |

Ah, thank you :) I would love a good new or "new" FPS. After R6Vegas I can't find any that I like enough to buy. |

Just finished the demo. Well, i thought it was kind of intresting, but yes, its not very polished i guess, felt like a very promising early beta. On the positive side, i liked the ability to walk really slow, while aiming, which for me is a huge immersion booster because it feels/looks so real and is, of course, exactly what humans do in real life. I wish more games had that. The music didn't agree me, so i turned it off, which turned off any ambient sounds, so the game went silent except for regular triggered sounds (gun shots, footsteps, etc) The scripted scene with the voice acting between the two men was like trying to fit a square block into a round hole with a bit of chalkboard scratching on the side. Why did the guy just hand the "do everything" device right over??? ...and why am i mass murdering all these people? |
