I took his inclusion of Oblivion as mocking the inclusion of Burnout Paradise which he wanted to exclude based on its console release being last year.

People might vote for Oblivion without realizing this, taking votes away from other games.

I actually agree with you. Oblivion should not be up there.

No biggie given the numbers so far, anyway.

Come on people... A betrayal-sequel, a Steam-only MP game, a Source title, that's what's GOTY material to you ? :? I'm depressed.

If GOTY means the game that you have enjoyed the most then yes; yes that's GOTY material to me.
