Updated Borderlands module.

- Changed WeaponFOV fix to codecave instead of unreliable pointers, if crashing STILL persists, disable the HUD fix (Read: untick "HUD Scaling")
this is the last remaining pointer based modification, if this (HUDFix) proves to be the root cause another method will need to be used.

Quite chuffed now seanstar? I doubt it.

Oh wow... I got so excited when I saw that this exists... I really hope I can get it working. A couple questions:

1. I updated my plugins but when I start tribes it still says that the 1.0.980 version of tribes is "unknown" -- it also doesnt show up in the game version combo box.

2. I have been unable to get this to work at all as of yet so let me describe my set up in general and maybe you can tell me if this program is even what I need.

I have three monitors hooked up to two GeForce GTX 460's in my comp. When I launch the game the status text at the bottom of the tribes plug in tab says that it has found the process but the display resolution is only 1920x1080, Monitors 1x1, NVIDIA GeForce GTX460 on .DISPLAY3Monitor0 and the game plays normally only on my center screen.

The status tab shows the following:

- Found NVIDIAN Device: GeForce GTX 460 (1)
- Found NVIDIAN Device: GeForce GTX 460 (1)
! - NVIDIA Debug: (Second Call) GetDisplayConfig() - Result: -5, Success=False
- Found Generic Device NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
- Display Detected, Res: (X: 1920, Y: 1080), AR: 1.778, Displays: 1
- Found Generic Device NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
- Display Detected, Res: (X: 1920, Y: 1080), AR: 1.778, Displays: 1
- Found Generic Device NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
- Display Detected, Res: (X: 1920, Y: 1080), AR: 1.778, Displays: 1
- Preferred Display .DISPLAY3Monitor0 connected to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460

If I go to Settings -> Config -> Display Detection and override specifying 5760x1080 etc the game runs but still only on the center monitor with everything FOV'd for three monitors.

I hope this helps as I am really excited about getting this to work. Thanks for your help in advance.

-Patrick

I'll investigate this for you tomorrow.

Has there been any official word on if blizzard allows this fix for Diablo 3? Has anyone been ban for using this fix? Does this also fix the shop and inventory windows by centering it to the middle screen? Thanks in advance!

I've been using FWS for awhile now but recently I've been getting an Appcrash error whenever I try to open the .exe

Code:
Problem signature:
     Problem Event Name:   APPCRASH
     Application Name:   FlawlessWidescreen.exe
     Application Version:   1.0.0.4
     Application Timestamp:   4fa0ffd6
     Fault Module Name:   msvcrt.dll
     Fault Module Version:   7.0.7601.17744
     Fault Module Timestamp:   4eeaf722
     Exception Code:   c0000005
     Exception Offset:   00009c7f
     OS Version:   6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
     Locale ID:   1033
     Additional Information 1:   0a9e
     Additional Information 2:   0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789
     Additional Information 3:   0a9e
     Additional Information 4:   0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789

I've updated the Visual C++ redistributable and have tried a SFC /scannow to try and fix the fault dll (msvcrt.dll), but nothing has been working. Anyone else have this problem?

The Executable has not changed in some weeks now, you could try navigating to the Flawless Widescreen folder in Program Files (assuming you installed it) and delete the PluginCache and Plugins folder, maybe there is a bung file or something

The PluginCache and Plugins folder haven't been created in my Flawless Widescreen directory.

I've tried reinstalling FWS as well and I still haven't found a fix for it.

c0000005 is a access violation, basically accessing a address that doesn't exist - about as much as I can tell you without a stack trace.

I trust you have c++ Redistributable 2010 installed? Typically it would not cause the error your receiving anyway, additionally running as Administrator?

I don't see anything around that exception offset in the debugger of interest.

I have both 2008 and 2010 installed, with both 64 bit and 32bit versions and I'm running the .exe as administrator. That's why I'm so confused, it was working about 3-4 days ago then stopped suddenly. When attempting to run the program with Task Manager open it shows FlawlessWidescreen.exe appear for a few seconds then disappear with a the error message about appcrash.

When the error appears Start TaskMgr.exe, select the process tab, select FlawlessWidescreen.exe while it is still displaying the crash dialog. Right-click it and Create Dump File and find a way to get it to me.
