Sorry if someone posted this already( did a search and couldnt find anything )

Ok,so simple enough fix

Download a hex editor, i just used hexedit - http://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~prewett/hexedit/

Backup options.dopt( in C:UsersUSER_NAMEAppDataLocalDarksiders for Vista and Win 7 users )
Now open up options.dopt( in C:UsersUSER_NAMEAppDataLocalDarksiders for Vista and Win 7 users ) in the hex editor

Horizontal resolution is on the 3rd line( 20 ), it will be 0500 if you have res in game set to 1280x1024, so modify this to the horizontal res of your setup( use windows calculator in programmer mode to convert resolution to hex values ). I have mine set to 0F00 for my setup( 3840x1024 )

Vertical( i didnt have to change mine ) should be just before than, i.e. line 2 ends in 04000000. the 0400 part should be the vertical resolution.

Modify both values to your eyefinity resolution and save the file, launch the game and you should be good.

And thats it, youll have to modify the settings file again every time you change them in game, but its handy enough

The FOV looks correct too

Heres some pix for proof :)

Works a treat across 3x 24" ~ 1920x1080 @ 5760x1080 using SoftTH, excellent work ! :rockout

(Read only the .dopt file might help as well as between launches of the game it sometimes seems to reset the resolution)

glad it worked :), yeah good idea, setting .dopt to read only permissions would prevent the game overridding it.

Thanks! Followed your directions above and now the game works Nvidia Surround 5208x1050 (bezel correction).

I overwrote the two values, did a Save As... from HexEdit to a different filename, then deleted the original and renamed the edited file options.dopt and it worked great!

Game is a mix of Prototype + Devil May Cry to me, lots of action.

HEXEDIT BEFORE 1680x1050 (0690x041A)

44 4f 50 54 00 04 00 00 00 56 60 4a 58 01 21 21 01 00 01 01 01 01 01 39 00 00 00 1a 04 00 00 90 06 00 00 6e 42 fe 3e 00

HEXEDIT AFTER 5208x1050 (1458x041A)

44 4f 50 54 00 04 00 00 00 56 60 4a 58 01 21 21 01 00 01 01 01 01 01 39 00 00 00 1a 04 00 00 58 14 00 00 6e 42 fe 3e 00

hex values for 5760x1200 are:
1680 = 5760
4B0 = 1200

Nope, cant be done in registry, the file is the only place to change it.

just click on the values you want to edit with the mouse and type them in, it will override the previous ones, e.g. in you screen it looks like 0700 is your horizontal resolution and 0400 is your vertical( weird res is that right? i.e. 1792x1024 )
Change them to ones you want and save and youre sorted
