I don't know if it will work for you, but I'm using one HD 5870 @ 6000x1080 (bezel comp) with HaYDeN's fix set at 2000 and it works flawlessly exept for reading books and moving the map pointer around. Still it performs amazingly well on Ultra AA=off AF=16 and view distance (all) 75% of max

@cp_clegg I have it working fine with bezel correction. Edit the NEW.CT file in notepad and change the triple monitor rez's to your total rez (default is 5040), then divide by 3 and use that to change the single monitor rez (default is 1680). Do a "replace all" with each of those values. I had to tweak the single monitor number a little bit further, which I did by shooting arrows into a wall and changing the resolution until they aligned with my reticle.

@Helifax, I'm not sure if this has already been discussed, but the "-" view setting for two-paged books works for me. However, single pages (notes, bounties, etc.) have about 40% of the text spilling off the left side of the paper and not shown. This happens with any Dark Brotherhood assassin's note, for example.

[quote]I am really hoping that HaYDeN can get that new fix out - because I just love his existing fix. Mad thanks to him and Helifax and all who have worked on this.

In the meantime I noticed a lot of people complaining that CrossfireX is not working or is giving poor performance. I fooled around with it a lot and found a configuration that works for me. I was frustrated that it seemed very sluggish and stuttery.

I run 5760x1200 (3 x 28") on dual 2GB 6950's, core i7 (920), 12GB ram, dual SSDs in RAID-0. Should be fast. It wasn't.

Look at this post:
http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4159680&postcount=118

There is a version of the drivers posted there, install that. Make sure you have CAP3 installed, NOT CAP4.

Install RadeonPro and do as the guy says - set it to TES IV profile and make sure Surface Optimization is turned off, CatalystAI on full and CF mode to AFR.

Using the RadeonPro tools I can see that both VPU's are being used, and I get much better framerate than before. Plus it is just obviously smoother. Before, with no tweaks, I was getting 20-25 fps with "High" settings. Now I am running on Ultra and getting 40-50 fps which is plenty fine. I set the shadows to Medium because many people are saying that this setting is bugged and works opposite to how its labeled. I find the shadows look much better.

I also found that after I applied the >2GB fix (there are a few different ones) I have not had one single CTD. I was getting those every 20 minutes or so before

Really, if HaYDen can get books and maps fixed, I will be in heaven.

Thanks for the tip! I have done some more crossfire testing with 2x6850 and had no luck with CF/eyefinity. CF works for me, but with about 0% scaling, and Radeon Pro shows 40-60% utilization.

I will follow the instructions on that post and report back.

Looking forward to trying Halifax's new fix. The ability to toggle to x1 or x3 should bring the best of everythng.

This did not work w/ crossfire 6850s. Same issues with crossfire as before. Poor scaling in single screen mode, hangs and stutters in eyefinity. I'm going to wait for AMD drivers.

helifax, I just want to say your latest three option (center, stretch, read) fix is amazing. I switched from Hayden's to this. I just opened the CT file in notepad and edited the config for 5760x1080 and it's working flawless. Thank you and Bethesda owes you some of the $60 I spent on the game!

ACK! I didn't even try that. I tried it myself and it's working just fine! Thanks boink for that and THANK YOU helifax!

Books work with fix, but scrolls are uncentered and image is cut in half, like its trying to fit on a book. I wonder if doubling the size of the scroll model would do it? Im betting to "tell" the game we are opening a scroll and not a book is impossible... so I suppose another hotkey to switch it (like the hot key for books) is the fastest fix we can expect.

He has work i think he said.

anyway Helifax, can you work out a way to change the mode automatically ?

something like an "if" statement

if 33266fc01 then press 1
else press 2

else press 3

hehe something like that to read whats in memory and change

Surely there is a better programmer here.
