I've partially implemented a FOV fix locally. It will correct the non-zoomed FOV. To fix the zoom FOV requires a codecave which I'm still looking into.

Theres a new COD:AW patch out. r1.5.1126930
The fix still works but i'm getting lots of different crashes and at one time I got an error message saying something about "tampering detection".
I'll post a screenie if it pops up again. This was the multiplayer mode. Only WF and COD running, no other fixes and not using the Map/Marker option in WF.

If there is a patch never run the old version on it.

I wasn't aware there was an update because Steam has not downloaded any update for it yet. I'm going to restart Steam and see if it starts to download. Once I have the patch I'll get a fix out ASAP (after the Red Wings game).

Going over the offsets of the new version and they all appear to be the exact same so far.

Edit 1:
Ok, the only offset that changed between the two versions was the offset for the minimap fix and movie centering.

Edit 2:
r729 is up with support for v1.5. The only thing changed in this is the offsets for the minimap fixes for SP and MP, and the movie fix for SP.

Would love to enable the minimap fix (in MP), but because of the risk of getting banned I have not done so. Play at 21:9 currently. The stretched icons aren't really a big problem, but the minimap is(the stretched nature makes it hard to read the map correctly). Did anybody enable it and not get banned? Also, is there any way that the minimap can get fixed without using an unsafe method?

I tried to enable it, and the game kept crashing for me - so there's that :P I'm not sure whether the newer version does the same, but frankly if I were to get banned (highly doubt it) I would send angry words to Sledgehammer for forcing me to use fixes for their shit game anyway. Also, I really wouldn't mind if they banned, me - which sounds stupid because I play the game, but I don't think the game is that great anyways, and it's still broken with match-making and some maps are unplayable.

I think i had it on most of last night when playing Exo Survival.
I can try it out and see if it crashes for me as well in MP.

Actually I found it to be one of the funniest COD games so far.
Nice graphics, fast arena playstyle with jumping, lasers, loot system. Cant wait for Unreal Tournament :)
I play domination/hardpoint most of the time and have not encountered a "unplayable" map.
I feel the maps are pretty well balanced. Also matchmaking seems fair. Im one lvl from Prestige2 now and i get matched with higher lvl players. it was when i turned Prestige1 that i really could tell, because all of the sudden more then half the players in the map was prestige whereas before prestige there was only some of them.

But yes, I will rain hell over them as well if I get banned for using a tool to fix their shit.
So I'm with you on that, it's a shit game support wize.

You are lucky that you get to play modes other than TDM. Here in Australia on PC anyway, trying to connect to Hardpoint takes forever. Hopefully they will intro player count with dedicated servers. As for the unplayable map, I don't know it's name, but its the one where the tidal wave comes crashing it. I had never played it, but players dropped off like flys, before one said "oh the lag map" - and sure enough it lived up to that reputation. In saying that, I got top of the ladder, and most kills that game :P Lag 4 the win!!

Yes, I have no problem here in Northern Europe Sweden. Hardpoint usually 10 or so potential games, Domination 99 or so. :D
If TDM was the only option I would be mad to, dont really like it. No goal and players all over random running.
Ah, that map. I really like it. Maybe some lag now and then but no crashing or huge dropping of players.
Most of this with disconnects and lag would be gone if we got the dedi servers.
