I'm trying to hex edit a game to naively run on my 21:9 monitor, usually to do this you have to replace a certain hex value with 26 B4 17 40 and the game (Devil May Cry 4: SE) I'm trying to run at 21:9 accepts this with no problems......but having a 1080 ti has spoiled me to the joys of DSR (¬‿¬) and I've been messing with it to no avail to run a 4x DSR. So if you know the hex value for 5120 x 2160 or how to get it, it would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

It's the exact same aspect ratio, so the value is the same - 26 B4 17 40

I just figured this out (i was dumb ) I found a way to do it though.

Step 1: Follow this guide and confirm that the game is running at in 21:9 (confirm in game, menu will still be stretched)

(Note - Let your resolution stay at 1920x1080, that's what you hex edited)

Step 2: Have DSR 4x option enabled in nvidia control panel (DSR 2x and 3x have some visual problems with this method)

(Note - Don't worry about performance, this game is old)

Step 3: Find the 16:9 equivalent of your 21:9 DSR resolution (a bit tricky but search google) for me it was 3840x2160 aka
4K (since my 21:9 4x DSR resolution is 5120x2160 on my 2560x1080 monitor). Save this resolution for Step 4.

Step 4: Go to "your windows hard drive\users\you\appdata\local\capcom\DEVILMAYCRY4SPECIALEDITION" and you'll find a
config file, open it look for [DISPLAY] and under it you will find "Resolution=1920x1080" and change it to the one
you found in Step 3 and save it.

Step 5: Download the latest release of Borderless Gaming and run it.

Step 6: Run Borderless Gaming => Right click the desktop and change your resolution to your DSR one => Run the game
=> Press ALT + ENTER to go to windowed mode => Go to the Borderless Gaming and add "DEVIL MAY CRY 4 Special
Edition" to your favorites and YOU ARE DONE. ENJOY GLORIOUS ALIASING FREE GAMEPLAY!!!!!!

Note - YOU DO HAVE TO GO THROUGH STEP 6 EVERY TIME YOU RUN THE GAME, EXCEPT FOR THE ADDING IT TO YOUR FAVORITES PART IN BORDERLESS GAMING. THAT IS ONLY A ONE TIME THING.
