Hey, guys.

I checked out the detailed report of "capable heart" and I have to say that the game does not give me "my" resolution, which is 1360x768. Most other UE3-Games have native support for that resolution and only a few need manual adjustment.

But, for Wolverine I changed the resolution like "capable heart" described it(in the .ini). But as soon as I start the game, it changes the res back to 1280x720.

Any idea?

Well, I checked in the game, and... good news, I was able to get 1360x768 to work, so we at least know it's possible.

1360x768 does not show up in the in-game options menu, true enough. But when I edited the WEngine.ini file for 1360x768, the game would start and play fine at that resolution.

1. Maybe the wrong WEngine.ini file was being edited.

I'm on Windows XP 32bit, so the path to the ini for me is this:
C:Documents and SettingsMy DocumentsWolverineWGameConfigWEngine.ini

2. Are you totally, totally sure 1360x768 shows up in your windows settings resolution menu?

3. What kind of display are you playing on? Maybe the OSD is incorrectly reporting 1360x768 to be 720p.

Here's a screenshot:

Hi.

Yes, I edited that .ini ;-)

And yes, I am sure, because I am running Windows in that resolution. My display is a 50 inch Pioneer Plasma "Kuro".

And about the incorrect reporting: I don't think it is doing that, I can see it at the "sharpness" of the Menu that it is 720p not 1360x768.

I am at work now, I will try again later at home.

Well now it works. I did the same thing like yesterday. I only switched to 1080p in the game menu and then quit the game. Then I edited the .ini and now it works.

Weird.

You can make the .ini file read only after you make the changes that way the game does not change it back upon a reboot of the game.
