Hor+

I found the FOV to be a little narrow, cg_fov 70 is nice, default 65.
Fun. Runs great. Looks great.

4:3

16:10

No compass stretch, and pretty sure the rest of the HUD does not either.

But dig those lousy weapon 3rd person details...

Still worth the buy.

Yes you can change it. Enable console in the game options.
Bring it up with tilde, as always.

enter
"cg_fov ##" whatever your preference may be.

Since 1680x1050 is also 16:10, I guess i'd use cg_fov 70 for that, but really it'a a matter of preference.

Anyone manage to beat the 15.1 second training time? the best i could get was 16.3.

I am tempted to buy this game but at about 5 hours single player game, it is just not worth it IMO.

In singleplayer the FOV seems to reset to default at the start of each new mission, even after the command "seta cg_fov 80" has been used. Any idea on how to avoid that?

This will mainly be the game for me and my LAN buddies so it's not a big problem.

I played the demo and I like it, mostly.
It is a more polished call of duty 2 in a modern setting.
The two things I do not like and may be the reasons for not buying the game are the very short single player game, and how as with all the Call of Duty games the enemy has infinite amount of soldiers in their ranks and you could kill millions unless you move a few more meters to reach a point in the map that makes the enemy soldiers stop. Ruins any reality for me.
