I think we should e-mail EA complaining about this lack of widescreen support. Can't they see that PC users are moving to LCD and plasma displays and most big screens have widescreen resolutions???

I think you will have more luck getting an answer if you pray to god and to get an answer.hehe

How good at drifting is everyone in this game?

Yeah - it took d/l the crack to get that fix to work properly. It's still pretty crummy that EA releases this in a 16:9 ratio on the 360 and PC's once again get 4:3 at a maximum of 1600x1200 without a patch/crack.

Now I've got it going at 1920x1200 4xFSAA, AF on, and all options turned up to maximum. It looks good even if the motion blur is a tad overkill.

For those with framerate issues - you're probably running a GeForce 7 series video card. It seems as if this specific series of cards have some performance issues with this game. From the look of things it seems to be a fault with nVidia's drivers and not the game.

Also, apart from the inexistend optimisation of this game, it CRASHES ALL THE TIME, especially when setting up cars in the lot. And this is not related to ures , nor cracked version , but purely EA. Lots of ppl have this problem too.

EA must be complete idiots to get this game out like this and spoil the good name of the NFS series (regardless of what many think, NFS is the N.01 street racing game)

This UniWS program is very good, I can run my Razor1911 Carbon in 1440x900, and it looks very nice. But. I'd like to buy the original collectors edition. I read here someones post that UniWs can't patch the original version of the game, so it cannot be played in 16:10. Is this true? Anybody here who plays with the original CE, and managed to play it in 16:10? I hope somebody can answer me, it would be very important to know.

ah well, gamestar.hu, sais a patch is coming in this week and they updated this info with this: "they heard that WS support is coming soon"... so I hope it'll be in this patch or somehow they finally got this fix in this and other EA games too!
