Hey Guys,

Check out this link if you want to fully revert back to version 1.1 (Windows 7 users only)

Revert back to Version 1.1 (Win 7 only)

Also I think its time that we raid the Bethesda forum again and keep bumping the eyefinity/surround thread so it's in the moderators view.

I understand it's a longshot at this point to get a developer off their a$$ to get something implemented and patched but I think there's enough users in this forum to help make a difference.

Official Skyrim Forum Thread

Edit: Almost forgot to Thank all the users in this forum that have helped make triple gaming possible for Skyrim (Hayden, Helifax, Thales, and others). I look forward to your new updates :)

Thanks guys,

kiax0001

Nice to see my thread getting some WSG luv again...... :searchplease
C'mon Bethesda!! You owe us a response at the very least!! Oh whats that? Too busy counting your money?...oh...ok....sorry to bother you :((

I am seeing the same thing as everyone else.

CTD on start with 0.3, 0.4A, & 0.4B.

Hate to say it but again we fall back to HaYDeN to save us from the awful menus.

My rig running HaYDeN 0.4A with 1.1:

I set my game to "do not automatically update this game" and it didn't and hasn't. Everything still runs and works as it did.

You know whats really funny? I have a buddy that runs 1 monitor, 1680x1050 (probably the most common display resolution), and 1 GFX card, gtx560 (also mainstream) and he pm'd me saying that now whenever he tries to start Skyrim the game launches to the black start menu with the dragon emblem, he clicks on Continue and the game minimizes and then relaunches back to the start menu and he said its an endless loop.

GG Bethesda, breaking the game for your core PC audience, let alone us...

I'm just glad my game didn't update.

Oh Bethesda just what are you playing at.

Anyone would think they were sabotaging the efforts of the modding community deliberately. But that can't possibly be true because that implies that the actually give a dam.

When will they realises that you have to work with and not against your customers. Time for us to shake things up a bit. Here is the link to the their contact us page.

Select " customer services" and lets start spamming. Everyone on this forum should send one message each day until such time they either fix the game or allow us to do so.

I'm on about email number 5 with them. Every time I get a canned response back about making sure my drivers are updated, to verify my cache, etc etc. Thanks for reading my emails, I can feel the love for your customers. Last $60 I spend with Bethesda.

Most annoyingly, I had set mine to not automatically update. I checked multiple times to make sure it was turned on. Updated anyways. Great work, steam.

EDIT (just so I don't make a third post): you can post on their blog as well: http://www.bethblog.com/index.php/2011/11/30/skyrim-1-2-update/

Its not hard to imagine the turmoil inside the company. It was either a breakdown of their QA/release process, or insidious bugs introduced by rushed code, not fully tested.

I guarantee they have probably already figured out the guy responsible for breaking it and his days are probably numbered if he is not already gone. Game shops don't take care of their developers. And its probably not even his fault. His manager was cracking the whip, he was the only one to step up, and now he's as good as dead.
