Hey eyekantspel, welcome to WSGF, are you running .91 fix as admin ? Whats the SkyrimPrefs.ini file you're checking, the one in game's folder or at C:Users...DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim ? Are you running any modified .exe ?

Hi, thanks for the welcome. Yes, .91 is being run as Admin, and the preference ini is the one in my C:Users...DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim folder. I don't believe the exe is modified, after 1.3 came out I no longer needed to use the loader for more than 2 gigs of memory. However, I do have skyrim script extender, and while that is a separate exe from which I normally run the game now, I've been trying with the actual TESV.exe; I don't know if skyrim script extender has modified it though.

Thats a possibility, why dont you delete both TESV and launcher .exes (backup first if you want) and use Steam to download them again using the "Verify Integrity oif Game Cache" function ?

I'll give that a try today, see how it goes.

EDIT: Alright, tried with the newly downloaded TESV.exe, after removing the exe for the skyrim script extender, same thing occurred. Is it possible that the FXAA files I have that load when Skyrim loads are causing it? I was pretty certain those just have an affect on the final image displayed rather than messing about with Skyrim's process.

I wonder if the next SKYRIM update will again break the wide screen fix??

Also, I have been using .91 fix but not running it as an administrator and it is running fine? Is that normal?

Well you may try without the file (if possible)s, anything may help now, please post back if you find the solution as it may help other users.

Yes, it will probably break it, but HaYDeN should release a new version of the fix that will support v 1.4. Yes it normal, no problem.

Has anyone been able to get SKY UI inventory to work properly with the widescreen patch from HaYDeN?
http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3863

For me the image is off onto the right monitor for the 3rd item...
I found an optional config file that says 5760x1080 but it doesn't appear correctly either...

For those that may be interested incoming;
Update 1.4 Beta!
Personally going to wait for confirmed full update and gonna check the boards before updating.
Some of you may want to turn off auto updates in readiness for the (main) inbound patch. The Beta is an opt in so, unless you opted in, it should not bother any one.
