This old and rare gem runs natively and has widescreen resolutions available right after installation.

No modification required. I do add that I used a patch for the game 4000-3 was it's name. I only offered Immersion force feedback to your gamepad of choice. This game runs flawlessly, again, on Win XP SP2. I was able to map every button and both analog sticks in the game (it requires every fricking button too).

I was very surprised that it worked since it was designed for Win 95/98.

If you've never played it, you should really check it out. It's a great 3rd person action/adventure game.

Please could you post a couple of screenshots ... with the game in the exact same position ... one in WS and one in 4x3 ... we can then add it to the Solutions lists ... thanks ... :D

Try and get a hold of the original MDK too :)

Its a classic, and was groundbreaking for its time! (Full 3D with no hardware accelleration, and it ran at 30fps on my P120! :))

Strangely enough the game ran in a letterbox format, but i doubt its possible to play it in widescreen! :p

Screenies:

4:3

16:10

The HUD gets stretched, but the 3D game elements are not. It is true FOV+H Widescreen support in a 2000 title. Pretty impressive. This game visually holds up quite well today.

Appreciate the screens dude. I was researching on the net trying to find a program to take screenshots with.

Thanks again!

This is one of my favorite games of all time. Platforming, great boss battles, and lots of run and gun.

Too bad Bioware never made a sequel.
