Hi, and I apologize in advance for being stupid. I'm trying to run this game on my 19" widescreen monitor at 1440x900 (max resolution). But do the display options on the menu change to allow you to choose the widescreen resolution, or does it just happen regardless of the display options? Because no matter what, all I can choose are 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768. I don't know if the ini file changes are working and it's just not showing up in the menu maybe? Thanks to this site I have configured several other games for this monitor and the 1440x900 option was always selectable from the options menu with those games.

I have changed the splintercell4.ini file to the following:

WindowedViewportX=1024
WindowedViewportY=768
FullscreenViewportX=1440
FullscreenViewportY=900

And I changed the splintercell4user.ini file to the following:

DesiredFOV=85.281271852212
DefaultFOV=85.281271852212

I also tried using 91.3 as the FOV but it made no difference.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions, this is really bugging me.

You're correct. It will change when you apply the hack but it won't show in the options screen.
Just start playing and you should have the correct resolution. :)

Whew. Thanks, now I can relax and quit obsessing over it :)

Double Agent actually does have a glitch with its settings though... I have tried to enable AA on that game a billion times and it never actually does it. I also wonder if I really have HDR lighting enabled... it just seems like it isn't, looking at the screenshots and videos of the console version... there's no reason the PC version should look worse at max settings.

The game is pretty glitchy.
