The Game itself supports my needed Resolution of 1920x1080 resulting in a streched screen. Haven't found out how to set a FOV for it. Anyone has a solution?

I realize this topic is 4 years old, but the game has just been re-released on www.gog.com (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/startopia/) and I thought it was better than starting a new thread. There seems to be mixed reports as to whether or not the picture is stretched in widescreen modes. It seems to support any resolution reported by the GPU which is great, but on my system it's stretched at 1080p. Anyone have any thoughts or solutions? Windows 7 64-bit GTX670 2GB GOG version of Startopia 1920x1080 (16:9 ratio): 1440x1080 (4:3 ratio):

That is clearly a case of Hor stretching, which usually means the game has limited aspect ratio support. Sometimes these are easy fixes. Does the game have any other display issues, or is it just the stretching? I don't have the game, but if you want to PM me a download link to the gog executable (not the full game) I'll have a look to see if it can be patched. Can't make any guarantees.

I can second the stretching at 1920x1200 - It's never something I've noticed until now though. The yellow crates are ~ 150px wide compared to a height of 110px in a test screenshot I took.

Works like a charm - only a slight graphical glitch in the main menu as a side effect, which doesn't affect the buttons in the slightest as far as I can tell. :party:
