Looking around I see people with massive 22 and 32 inch monitors needing to upscale their games... I have the opposite problem...

I have an eee4g with a native resolution of 800x480, and when I get lucky I get a 640x480 game... this usually results in one section of the screen showing the game and the rest showing the windows desktop. This is what happened with my most recent aquisition, American McGee's Alice

Game seems to work fine but as noted does not show full screen. I looked at the tutorial for changing it's resolution but my screen is so tiny it's not listed at the calculator site.

I'm having the same problem with guidwars, except unless I run it in windowed mode it defaults to 800x600 and I lose vital displays...

Any suggestions?

While you will not find any tips for running games at this site many of the tips allow you to plug your resolution into what ever advice is given for running those games in other wide screen modes.

Of you have trouble finding the support info for those games just come here and we well give you a hand.

As i said I found the info to change the game but the calculator to determine the variables for the ini file doesnt support my very-small resolution... can somone please link to a calculator that supports calculating an 800x480 resolution?

Just use something with the same aspect ratio (15:9)

Thanks! Only problem now is that while i *can* play it full-screen, it is a pos interface (being based on the quake engine) since I have a tiny touchpad and tiny keyboard...

3. ???
4. Profit!!!
