Hi, was wondering if anyone can help me fix Homeworld to be 1680 x 1050 widescreen.
I tried to follow the instructions in this thread http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/5413
But unfortunately I don't have a "Sierra on-line" registry entry in HKLM > Software, so I'm kind of at a loss as to what to try next.
I'm running on Win 7 64 bit, if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.

Or try doing a registry search for one of the registry keys the game uses, like HW_Data.

Thanks guys, but I found the problem. Due to using Win 7 64-bit, I was looking in the "wrong" registry. "run > regedit" in Win7 64 bit takes you to the default 64 bit registry. To access the 32 bit registry, it's "%systemroot%syswow64regedit"
Problem solved!
Now I just have to work out how to fix that broken z-buffer >.>

What do you mean broken z-buffer? If you're referring to the flickering issue, you should be able to solve it by adding /triple to the end of the shortcut.

I recall having some graphical issues with Homeworld but it's been a while since I've played it.
