Widescreen Gaming Forum

I'm curious if anyone has looked into this game, and found a way to force it into Widescreen?

I'm using the GoG.com version of the game.

As far as I now its based on a highly modified version of 3Space engine used in the EarthSiege/StarSiege games and other Sierra flight simulator games.

As far as ingame settings it only allows for 640x480 or 800x600 resolution. That's using a Glide Wrapper such as Zeckensack's Glide Wrapper. The Direct 3D mode lacks some of the bells and whistles of playing it with the 3Dfx emulation (mainly dynamic lighting) and it is also limited to 640 x 480.

Does anyone have solutions to force custom resolutions in this game or similar ones? Or is there anyone willing to take a look?

I'm currently trying to run it on an Alienware M11x R3, with a 1366 x 768 max resolution. I also have a machine that can reach 1,920 by 1,080. So being able to switch to any custom resolution would be useful.
