Hi there, my first post here on this excellent site.

I've tried the disable mw3 2d crossahir fix, and i just can't get it to work.

I downloaded the widescreenfixer, and the extra plugin. I put the plugin in steam/steamapps/common/Callofduty modernwarefare3 folder.
I start the game, 3D kicks in and i also see the nvidia lasersight, but then i try to click the hotkey for the disable/enable fix, nothing happens. I changed the hotkey for it, tried alt, and number of other buttons. Because on my european keyboard i have to press shift+' to get a *.
What am i doing wrong?
Had this game since it came out and it's getting really frustrating not to be able to play it in 3d.
Any help would be much apreciated.

So i switched to win7 from vista today. And for a brief second the fix worked, the crosshair disapeared but then the game chrashed, - Any ideas what to do?
