No more arbitrary max res : the game detects and uses all available resolutions natively.

Gameplay is plain Vert-, which is only a problem for close-up views (and for Triplehead - I can't find camera files with FOV values to fiddle with, so turning this to Hor+ probably won't be as easy as it was for TS2). On the bright side, now that your sims can visit their neighbours each lot is much bigger, the max zoom-out level has been increased and there's even a lot map view you can switch to.

I haven't been able to play this since it doesn't support 1280 x 720 resolution, that's the highest my 17 widescreen monitor can display, so I'm pretty much screwed unless I play on a stretched one...

The Sims 3 FOV Hack

http://www.tocaedit.com/IB/index.php?automodule=downloads&showfile=23

This fixes problems with TripleHead

Using FOV 3360 @ 5040 x 1050

Yup, the tool's FOV ranges from 100 to 18k (default is 860). 8) Adjusting the FOV is not nearly as useful in ws as it is in TH though.

I tryed it and it is really Recer_S style!!! :D Good work!

My suggestion is to use 2560 value for 3x22" (5040x1050)

Unfortunately, it doesn't work very well in widescreen actually
The tool seems to mess with the perspective a little, so getting the right values for strictly Hor+ gameplay in 16:10 & 16:9 will prove difficult. Besides, the usual Numpad keys interfere with the game's camera controls and the tool is somehow hard to Disable.

So, imho it's better to use Auto Enable with the aforementioned values (3360 or 2560) in TripleHead... and not to bother using the tool in widescreen.
I will report the game as being native Vert- in ws anyway, but will let ws users know the tool exists and they can totally give it a go.
