Hello,

I wanted to give the Souls games a try with Scholar of the First Sin but much to my chagrin the game doesn't seem to support Ultra Wide resolutions. My native res 3440x1440 doesn't seem to work, neither does 2560x1080. There is a fix for Dark Souls 2 that I tried but it seems to not work on Scholar of the First Sin. Right now I'm forced to play the game in 16:9 but would really appreciate if someone could enable widescreen resolution support for the game.

Cheers,

Pilgore ;)

Hello I am having a problem using Flawless Widescreen with Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin.

When I select 'Set Borderless' to force my 3440x1440 windowed resolution it instead seems to zoom in and the right side and bottom of the image falls of the screen. 'Set Bordered' works correctly but obviously I don't want borders while playing. Here is a screenshot of what I'm talking about:

Also there are odd black bars during cutscenes:

Anyone experiencing a similar problem or know a fix?

The game was recently updated. The update broke the fix. Hoping for a fix soon. Ready to donate as usual.

I'm trying to run DS2:SOTFS at 5760x1080 using Flawless WS v2.1.96-rev:1 with Steams most current load. The game crashes at launch. Is this my rig's problem or is FW a revision behind Steam ?

Hey guys.. Just wondering if anyone knows if theres a fix floating around for scholar of the first sin for 21:9 monitors... 3440x1440 resolution. Ive tried to use the flawless widescreen plugin, but I havent been able to get it to work for me at all.

If anyone knows of anyway to get this fixed it would be HUGELY appreciated. Im dying to play and beat this game before the launch of dark souls 3.

I am playing it in 3440 x 1440 without any Problems. Important is that you run it Windowed and let Flawless Widescreen make it Fullscreen.

Fix for dark souls 2 is to buy Borderless gaming on steam and use flawless widescreen at the same time.
