Post subject:  Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night 21:9 request
Hi. I'd like to request a 21:9 fix for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
The game can run in 21:9 resolutions but it only affects the hud, leaving the game with black bars on the sides (see the attached picture).
The game is running on Unreal Engine 4 if that helps.

With CheatEngine, I searched for a float value of 1.77777, added all the search results to the list, froze them and changed the first digits to 2.3. End result was Vert- fullscreen.

This is where my knowledge of widescreen patching end. Someone maybe take it from here?

my version of the game is from GoG

This doesn't working for me either.

EDIT: Oh, ok, I have to switch to Borderless Windowed Mode in order for this to work (and select 2560x1440 if I want to play at 3440x1440p).

EDIT: Oh, ok, I have to switch to Borderless Windowed Mode in order for this to work (and select 2560x1440 if I want to play at 3440x1440).

Rose, do you think your fix will give my 4:3 CRT vert+ for this game? Would be useful for vertically scrolling stages for sure.
