Sorry for the double post. But I know what setup I want now.

For now I will go for a PLP (In windowed), but later what I want is to have 3x1 30" in portrait (almost the same real estate as 5x1 24") as I think this would be perfect. Less bezel but more real estate sounds good.

Similar real estate, but only a "widescreen" aspect of 15:8

I don't think that would bother me as much. Would it bother you?

In reality you get more pixels. 7680x1600=12288000 and 9600x1200=11520000

Aspect Ratio is more important in my mind. Of course resolution is important for crispness reasoning, but having a 15:8 aspect will feel like putting blinders on.

Well, my E6 card is in the mail and I still have my 3 24's, so I will test it out when I get it and because they seem to not be selling I will probably go with the 5x1 (weird though my wife actually suggested that.... strange).

My wife did the same. Maybe there is something about the 5x1-P that is enticing to our better halves?

Yeah, and she wants me to keep the bezels on. She doesn't think the silver will look good (and I tend to agree), funny.
