I'm running two Gigabyte 5870 2gb at stock settings. I can play for hours on one monitor, but when I enable eyefinity and try to game, I get auto-reboots almost instantly or within the first minute of attempting to play. I don't get a BSOD, so I can't really try and diagnose anything that way. I have a 700w OCZ PSU.

I7 920 overclocked to 4224mhz. 201x21. I was rock solid stable at 205x21 in Linx, P95, OCCT, and hyperPI, but I lowered it a tad for 24/7 use...and I'm still stable except in eyefinity gaming.

I'm wondering if it's my power supply. Is 700w enough to power 3 sata drives, i7 920 @ 4.2ghz, 5 fans, and two 5870s?

EDIT: AMD recommends at least 900w for my two cards. I'm looking for something in the 1200w or more range now since I have so many peripherals and screens and a mighty overclock going on.

1200w Corsair PSU coming sometime next week. I could play games in eyefinity until I enabled my overclock again. I guess the extra power drain is just too much for my dinky 700w PSU. If that does or doesn't fix my problem, I'll post here when i find out.

Yep, when you push that type of OC on the CPU and then run multi-card, it'll seriously tax a 700W PSU. 1200W is a lot of headroom.

So, the new PSU helped out tremendously.

I'm still having one problem though. At times my monitors will shut off one by one and then come back on one by one. During this time the computer is unresponsive, but audio/video will continue to play on the speakers. It takes at least a minute for me to regain control. This most commonly happens when I'm changing settings in the Catalyst, changing monitor configs under windows, or when I come back to my PC after the monitors turn off. I have sleep mode disabled, but my monitors go off after 20 minutes.

This didn't happen a month ago when I first got my eyefinity 6 cards.
