Hey all.

I've been using 1920x1080x3 with Radeon cards for years without a problem. At first it was 4870 gpu's and then 5870's and now two 7970gpu's in Crossfire. And I've mostly been using the WidescreenFixer tool. I play all kinds of games. And some offer a native 5760x1080 resolution and some not. And up till now its not been a problem.
Edit: Also wondering if this might be a symptom of some sort of bottleneck in my hardware?

But this last week I added a second Radeon7970 to allow for Crossfire and the the CCC and driver 12.3. (I tried other drivers but this seemed to be the one that worked, and the others not..for me anyway.)

The problem is that when I use a wide screen fixing tool like WidescreenFixer or FlawlessWideScreen to enable 5760x1080 the proportions are correct, but its very laggy/jerky and such. Not easily useable. Even my mouse "arrow" etc doesn't glide across the screen smoothly. Its kinda stuttering when I move it fast. Its almost like I'm using the wrong Advanced Graphic Setting for Image Quality, but I'm not. Or don't think so. For instance in MW3 I'm using Native. I've always used that with good results and I see that's recommended and setup that way in default by FlawlessWideScreen.

The gpu's work fine in Crossfire in games that offer native 5760x1080. The problem only seems to exist when I use them with a WideScreenFixing tool in Crossfire.

But only in Crossfire...When I disable Crossfire and only use one GPU...the Widescreen Fixers work fine.

Anybody got an idea of what I might try, or what I'm doing wrong. Actually it just looks like some sort of "settings" choice and I'm not selecting properly, but can't figure it.

BTW for some? reason the quality, even though flawed, seems less flawed in my tests with FlawlessFixer.. Could be my imagination..or better internet connectivity etc..but seems better for sure.

Do Both GPU run at Full clock (925mhz i assume) ?

You could check with GPu-Z or MSI Afterburner or any similar tool.
