Hi all.
I am running a single 6870 with three monitors which are all identical (1600x1200 but I have them in portrait) in eyefinity and a fourth running separate.
Eyefinity runs great on a lower resolution of 3072x1280 but if I up the resolution to 3600x1200(which are the screens native resolution) one monitor goes blank but the other two work fine.
I have tried several trouble shooting attempts to resolve this issue to no avail.
I disabled the fourth monitor for the following troubleshooting attempts.

With two DVI and one active Mini Display Port
3072x1280 - works fine
3600x1600 - works fine
But in this config the fourth screen(HDMI) will not work since I am using two DVI outputs.

With One DVI and two active Mini Display Port
3072x1280 - works fine
3600x1600 - One screen that is connected to the mini display port goes blank but the other two work at the proper resolution.

Can I rule out that one of the Mini Display Port adapters are faulty since it does work on the lower resolution?

Anyone with any ideas or troubleshooting procedures I should attempt.
I'll uninstalling then reinstalling the drivers now.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Up date for anyone who Googles this having the same problem.
Eyefinity with two DVI and one Active Mini Display Port.
3072x1280 - Works fine.
3600x1600 - Works fine.

Swapped Active Mini Display Port with the other Active Mini Display Port.
3072x1280 - Works fine.
3600x1600 - Didn't work.

So looks like one of the active Mini Display Ports is either broken, no longer active or can't handle the higher resolution.

Just bought a HDMI to DVI adapter and hope I can run the fourth monitor off of this via the (Non?) active Mini Display Port. Hopefully saves me having to buy another active Mini Display Port.
