Hello everybody,

I just bought my new hd 7970 so i could play battlefield 3 and crysis 2 on higher res and stuff. the fps of Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 increased very much compared to my 2 GTS 450 i had.
The res iam playing with is 5040x1050. The problem is that i get 60+ FPS with crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 but with call of duty modern warfare 3/2 and cod world at war i got around 30 if iam outside and 45 fps when iam inside a building. Also Kane and lynch 2 gets a fps of 20 with a res of 1680x1050!! :O I just spend 600 euro goddammit!! my previous cards where better with call of duty and kane and lynch 2.

Specs:

Intel core i5 650
ASUS P7P55D Premium Motherboard.
8GB 1333Mhz Ram
1x HD 7970
700 WATT PSU
3 hard disks.

I have searched on google and I found that some people say that the card is pretty new and there are still some driver issues. But i cant find anny issues with this card on call of duty mw 3/2 and waw. Black ops runs fine anyway. So my Question to you guys is: Does Someone have the same isseus with some cod series or is there annything wrong with my system?

Can someone help me fast??

PS. I have downloaded the auto detect driver thingy from the amd site and i have downloaded and installed the newest driver.

Ok the most obvious thing that might be causing this problem is that you didn't removed the Nvidia drivers completely. Fresh Win install? If no how did you remove them. Please follow the this link on how to remove your drivers completely.

No I don't. Did you set your textures to native?

Can you tell me which driver you are running. Check by clicking on information -> software in CCC.

Your right i didn't remove my nvidia drivers so iam doing that now and my version of my ati driver is:

Woooooowww!! thanks man!! i already deleted the drivers with driver sweeper but i didn't deleted them in the configuration screen. Really thank you!!
