Ok people, i know this is an old game but I've completed the others and was working my way through this one.

I started playing this using a setup of 6990 & 6970... everything was fine at full settings.
I then carried on playing with 2x 7970.... again everything fine
one 7970 stopped working after I setup a raid config on the system so swapped these two 7970's for another 2.

For some reason, when I play BF BC2 I now get loads of flickering. it's unplayable... not just a little tearing. I mean big black flashes.

I've seen some other forum threads that say to edit a file and turn the bloom off. This does fix it but my question is, why is it different now to before? I never changed that file before and it was fine.

I've even done new windows installs to see about fixing it. Any one else have similar issues?

Looks like it might be a crossfire issue. Turning off crossfire also works fine. So I now have two fixes... either turn off the bloom in the ini file or turn off crossfire.

No idea why this wasnt an issue before though.

The issue you're referring to has come along in all kinds of setups. My mate has two 1GB 4850's in CrossfireX (I know, old school) and even he has had the problem you're having as well. It's a game related problem, don't worry about it too much.
