Anyone know if you can use different sized monitors, but with different refresh rates, on the latest CCC drivers?

Im thinking of using two old 60hz, 1680x1050 monitors and one new 1920x1080 144hz 1ms 24" for the center. But will the current drivers force all the monitors to the same 60hz?

You cant mix refresh rate, all monitors Hz is the lowest monitor Hz. So, like my monitors now (almost a year), 60+144+60 monitors = All are 60Hz.

btw, i have only wait a 2 more days my current setup, then my two new monitors (144Hz) are arrived, so thursday, all my monitors are 144Hz.

Expensive, yeah, but i think after that im happy with 5760x1080@144Hz. :rockout:

Awww... Well, Bummer. If we are finally seeing the eyfinity solution to different monitor sizes ie 14.6, perhaps one day dif mhz monitors in eyefinity could be possible?

Or no?

you think you will get 144FPS? What do you run? triFire 290x LN2 Cooled?
i'm having heavy problems getting 60FPS in some games with crossfire 290 ^^

So Haldi. Given that very good point, would I be better off buying 3x 1ms 60hz monitors? Maybe OC them 5-10 hz?

Ill be running this off of a single 290 so, only a handful of games will be able to take advantage of 70-144 hz.

Could argue "future proofing" as an excuse to buy 144hz though. But who knows, maybe we all have oculus vr in the next couple years.

I Dont know... What would you do if you were me?

the next Monitor's i'm going to buy are gonna be 120+hz with Backlight Strobing (i.e Eizo Foris)

The problem will be that from 1 GPU to Crossfire 2 GPU's is about 90-95% Performance plus.
From 2 GPU's to 3 GPU's is about 15-30% Performance plus, and not 50% as it should be !

But still, two Watercooled Overclocked 780Ti might run most games in 100++FPS on Medium/high settings with 2xAA

The time is just bad at the moment, because Nvidia anounced their G-sync and AMD their Free-Sync and you can get roughly 1 or 2 monitors who support this. in 3-4 Years there will be way more Monitors out there which will support these two awesome features.
i am currently waiting on my 3 DellU2311h with 60hz IPS till that time comes.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm looking at bleeding edge technology, and expecting results we wont see for a year or two down the road. When you throw 4k into the mix, it's just a little too much atm, on my budget at least. Eyefinity is taxing enough already.

Think I'll spend my upgrade dough on components and put the monitor off for a while.

LN2 cant be used 24/7 PC, so i have on Phase Change (-40C) cooling on my i7.

I got an Assetto Corsa 140-260fps (5760x1080), Heavy Custom track (Nordschleife) 100-140fps, online...

Left4Dead2: 140-300fps 5760x1080...

Company of Heroes 2 must be played only 1 screen becouse there are no Hud fix available. :(

So, my @144Hz monitors are must for proper gaming, 60Hz screens wasnt.
