I have the TH2GO Digital Edition running at 5760x1080 on 3 x Samsung SyncMaster B2440 screens with the latest firmware, Powerdesk utility and video driver.

Only problem is with bezel management. I can adjust to any number of pixels on the left screen but at around 60 pixels (this can vary by +- 5 pixels) on the right screen, the right screen goes blank.

I believe this issue can also occur at lesser resolutions.

I've been in contact with Matrox support who tested this for me and confirmed they were able to reproduce the problem in the lab. A week later they advised me that they had a fix and that a firmware update would be released shortly.

I mainly run Flight Simulator 2004 where I average a maximum frame rate of around 40fps (have it locked at 25fps). I also run F1 2010 (Codemasters) which works well at 5760x1080 provided I don't install the latest patch.

Wait - you're actually running a TH2G DE at 5760x1080 ?

I thought the left-hand bezel issue was caused by the bandwidth limit, and couldn't be fixed. Glad to know Matrox are looking into it.

Yes, it's not a typo. I believe Matrox states support for this resolution somewhere if using the current firmware. I just created a custom resolution in the Nvidia Control Panel.

I saw that somewhere too. This is what they said after testing.

"Please note that we have reproduced this issue in our test lab and we will need to investigate this further to determine what the root cause is."

Followed later with:

"We seem to have found the solution to the problem and should be releasing the new firmware shortly."

that is wonderful news. I've been having the same problem and left the right bevel at 60 with the left at 80 or 90. Hopefully they have a fix soon. Or now! I'd better check!

Problem solved! The new firmware was released today. I installed in and can now set the bezel properly.

For those who struggle to get 5760x1080, here's how I do it exactly with my Nvidia GTX480 and 3 x Samsung Syncmaster B2440 24" screens.

Download latest Firmware and Powerdesk.

1. Uninstall Powerdesk
2. Uninstall graphics driver. Don't reboot yet.
3. Use Driver Sweeper. Reboot.
4. Install latest firmware.
5. Install graphics driver. Reboot. I'm using 266.58 for no particular reason than it's the one I was using.
6. Open Nvidia control Panel. Create a custom resolution at 5760x1080 57hz (not 50 or 60, Powerdesk will adjust to 50hz automagically later).
7. Install the latest Powerdesk. When it asks to do a quick setup say YES. It will say that it has noticed changes and do you want to reboot. Say YES.
8. When the system reboots Powerdesk will come up with a recommended setting of 3 x 1920x1080. Apply and you are off and running at 5760x1080 50hz.

kiwi53 I tried to do what you did to the letter but it did not work

my rig is slightly different

2 24: BENQ monitors and one 24" viewsonic monitor.

When I tired to create the 5760x1080 @57 Hz it failed the test each time so I could not create it in nvidia control panel.

Did you set the 57Hz in the timing panel or in the first panel?

each time i tried to create the custom res it failed at the test scenario and I could not continue unless I bugged out of the creation.

still a bit of a newbie luddite at all this so thanks for your patience.

Rob
