I have asked around with no response, so here goes again.

Does anyone (including Matrox(I've emailed-no responce) have any definative answers to the widescreen resolution limits on ATi hardware, and which cards this applies too?

I know older generation ATi cards were restricted resolution wise compared to Nvidia cards, which was corrected with later ATi hardware (there used to be a chart on Matrox site, but I can not find it anymore) so is this much the same?

Any help would be great for the community.

When it rains it pours.
Thanks for the chart link MatroxRulez.

I also received an email from Matroz:
"Thank you for contacting Matrox.

The ATI Radeon HD 4800 series is supported and the maximum resolution that can be obtained is 3x1440x900 with our TripleHead2Go Digital Edition. It is important to note that all of the monitor screens must be running under the same settings (resolution, refresh rate and aspect ratio)."

So there we go. I wonder what it is exactly what it is that prevents the ATi cards from going 1680x1050? Although I see no problem using 1440x900 on my 22"ers.
