Hi guys

I'll be upgrading to the TH2G digital soon so i thought i had better test my monitor to make sure it's compatible so i created a custom resolution of 1680x1050 @ 57Hz. This gives me the OSD non optimal settings message at windows desktop.

After some trawling on these forums I was unable to find a solution or a decent list of working monitors.

In game it works fine, fps is good, but when i alt tab to desktop or quit the game the OSD message comes back (for 60secs or until menu button pressed). Is there any way to stop the OSD message as the resolution obviously works even if it isnt optimum? Does it harm the monitor to run at non-optimal settings?

I like this monitor and obviously it's going to be cheaper to get 2 more of these than shell out for 3 new ones of a different type, so u think i should get it and put up with the message or get different monitors?

TIA

Welcome,
Taken from this thread, first post of that page, try the methods detailed in this thread.

It seems very hit and miss, so if it doesn't work, just keep your eye on the first thread for any updates 8)
