Dude I know you say your budget is like $100, bit I want you to understand that the change from Dual Screen to Triple Screen is extremely drastic, if you got a TH2G:D and a third Samsung monitor you would be extremely happy, TTH2G is so easy to set up and making games work with it is much easier than SoftTH If it would take you under 2-4 months to save up for a setup like that I would advise you to go for it!

in the softth config you can disable one or both sides I think, I used it at one point as a simple resolution overrider without 2 side monitors.

the 'big bang 2' driver from nvidia is supposed to come soon with lots of changes including multiple monitors with sli enabled or some variant along those lines, no details yet.

and I said that without noticing your using ati cards and not nvidia so sorry but I was way off track :)

how easy is it to set up the Triple Head 2go?
and does it support games that are not listed on the list with the same ease of installation? (no extra hacks and stuff)

does it work with

counterstrike 1.6
Battlefield 2142
Mass Effect
Call of Duty 4
DIablo 2
Tom Clancys Rainbow 6 Vegas 2
Unreal Tournament 3
Warcraft 3 frozen throne

i dun see these games on the list so i am wondering if i could play these with the Soft TH or the Triple head 2 go

also, i found out how to disable the left monitor
i just put it = to -1

but so far the only game i can get it working is Devil May Cry 4...

I got Grid to run at 2 monitors but then the resolution is all squashed and crap
Assassins Creed simply crashes
Overlord freezes everytime i select a profile
Gears of War Crashes

are these supposed to happen?
or am i doing something wrong?

You plug it in, for special configs there is a simple software installation.

I am downloading 1.6 now to check but I don't think it works. You WILL have better luck with a TH2GD that with SoftTH.

SoftTH is a giant pain-in-the-ass to setup (and currently doesn't work with some games, such as GRID), but there are some benefits to using it instead of TH2G. It allows you to use monitors of different aspect ratios and resolutions, which is great if have some random monitors lying around. It's also cheaper, as the price of entry is only a second display card. What I find really cool is that the latest release offers "lens correction", which basically compresses the FOV to get less stretching at the sides of your displays. If you want three monitors, I suggest that you give SoftTH a try before putting the money into a TH2G. If you find that it isn't good-enough for what you want to play, then consider the TH2G.
