First, I think its good for competition on Matrox products so they might update the firmware faster and improve gaming experience. But I dont trust that "chinese stuff" since they copy many things which might work under special situations. But mostly the quality and or support going down.

I am using the Matrox unit every day, several hours on my PC. It works just fine under any windows I have used so far. I made almost every game running with it and I am very happy about the next games released like NFS, Dirt 2 and so on.

What should 60 hz do better than 57 Hz? Would I see a difference as a casual gamer? I dont want to upgrade my living room in a space centre with 24 Monitors, since I have 3 22" on my desk and the 50" to the left for movies surrounded with THX 7.1.

But still the competition to matrox is good and might provide us with better gaming experience in the future :P

99% of what your computer is built from was OEM manufactured in China, probably by Foxconn.

yes, but the support is next to my door ;) Since this unit starts to go on european market, it will take time for that... and most pc stuff cost a little peace of that thing or is used by several 10000-100000 of people^^

this thing looks crazy, daisy chained for 24 displays??!!

but hmm im pretty sure matrox will have firmware updates in the future for true 60hz.. they did it with ati cards (59hz), and now i hear some nvidia cards do 5040x1050 @ 60hz??

but now matrox finally has competition lol

I managed to force my TH2Go to do 5040x1050 @ 60hz on my GTX295 (duel PCB) and it displayed fine, I didn't properly test it though for fear of frying ether TH2Go or my graphics card since it wasn't a supported spec.
