welll its very frustrating right now

i would love to get a 3 monitor setup but right now i dont know
i wouldent mind getting a new one but since i am not sure if my device i have is broken or not
its difficult to deceide.

if its not broken but its purely windows 7 ultimate 64x

then i would have 2 devices that have the same problem and that is a waiste of money unless i want to have 6 screens on my pc :P lol

and besides i have contackted the site i got it from but they insist its working so its my word against theres

well i am still waiting on a answer from matrox to my last mail.

search the web (as I'm sure you have)

Well hooray i got it to work in a jiffy when i got the new device
no firmware needed even the 5040x1050 worked directly

So thx to all that have answwerd my little problem with tips etc etc.

about the old unit i am thinking about flashing it with a back up of the new device and see if that will boot it to live again that would be cool then i can connect 6 monitors lol

the only thing i have problems with is the alignment of the bezel part
i have the cross perfectly aligned in the bezel management screen
but in game its still bad
when i try to get the bezel closer together
the cross is then miss aligned badly
and the fact that if i move the screen especial the left screen closer then there appears a black small vertical bar
at the edge of the screen giving it a little space

so how do you guys get the bezel to align nicely especial in the way that even if there is a part behind the bezel is
crossing over between screens nicely

Terrific! Glad you are up and running. Like I said earlier, it just shouldn't be that hard. If it is then there has to be something wrong with the hardware.

The bezel correction problem is a known problem that has no fix. It has to do with limits of the TH2G bandwidth or some thing like that. Others with better knowledge can give you a better tech answer. Bottom line though is that you just have to live with it. I emailed Matrox when I ran into the problem and that was their answer. I overlap my monitors so as to reduce the needed adjustment amount. Doing this I can get the screen to look right before the bezel correction gets distorted. Plus you have less hidden area.

Have fun triple screening!

Wow, I just noticed the phrase "big bad voodoo daddy" under my name. I have no idea where that came from!

Yes. I put the outer monitors behind the middle one. Causes some not perfect image matching but I prefer this to having a double wide bezel gap and the distortion we talked about.

One other thing I've begun doing lately is not turning the outer monitors to face me directly. I line up all three in a straight line. I play one game almost exclusively. (a racing game) It renders the wide scene such that things at the outer edges are stretched or elongated. By keeping the screens in a line my view of the outer monitors is foreshortened which compensates for this.

Cool, so now I'm a Big Bad Voodoo Daddy!

ok, I have the same problem like the post starter.

The power light is red and sometimes it is blinking.
I tried the way from the second post but it doesn't work with my setup (tried 2 times)

Explanation:
I have a Zotac GeForce GTX 295 (double GPU) in my computer and the whole setting worked some weeks ago till I was on some lan partys.
Then I wanted to use my 3 22" Screens again (3 x 22" Widescreen with 1680*1050 each -> 5040x1050)
I plugged in the box like I do almost every 4 weeks and then I got 3 black screens after starting my computer.
The problem is that my computer doesn't detect the box through the video cable (the short one you get with the box (I mean the DVI cable^^)).

Since then I did almost everything I can do without destroying anything physicaly^^
-loaded new firmware to the box
-reinstalled Power Desk
-reinstalled the newest video card driver
-reinstalled new Windows 7 (was on the computer when it worked)
-installed video card driver
-installed Power Desk
-reinstalled firmware
-installed older drivers (video card, firmware, Power Desk)
-...

Do you know a way to reset the box to have it with the data like you have a new box? Or what could be the problem and how to solve it?

More information about my system:
desktop pc
Intel i5 750 @ 2.8 Ghz (a little bit overclocked)
Zotac GTX 295
DDR3 Ram
Windows 7 Home Premium

-> The box already worked with this hardware. I think there is a software error inside the box because it don't work with a brand new windows installation like it did before.

I hope you have some solutions for me.

Sounds like my problem. I had to get a replacement TH2G. Are you still with in warranty?
