I'm still searching for a projector to use for this build

Looking at the design, you'll need at least two projectors to do it. Also the curvature looks non-uniform and too deep. I suggest a uniform curve on the screen. The curvature gets too deep and your focus will be really messed up.

Thanks. Do you think a smaller radius will work , i've changed the drawings a little.

I'm planning to use 3 monitors just like in your build.

Regards.

I'll take a detailed look at the sketchup file this weekend and give you a few suggestions to refine it.

Wondering if anyone has an update on possible "affordable" edge blending options for a 6 projector setup using two stacked rows of 3 (to increase vertical res)
IE 6projectors at 1280x800 shooting to 3840x1600...

ideas?

Keep in mind I have no experience with it, but this definitely seems worth a look. Perhaps bhawthorne could chime in on his opinion of the different solutions?

I've not been using my projection setup lately. I've been focusing on my 5x1P setup mainly because of it';s convenience on my desktop. When I get time to I'll download the demo versions of the utilities and do a compare and contrast on my setup. It might be a few weeks though. My projection projects have been a low priority for me in the last few months. It's mostly been a case of what to do next and the only things I see require budgets outside my means at the moment. Personally, I'd like to do a 5x1P 1080p projection setup, but I have no projector budget.

The only game that really does it is Microsoft FSX. You setup 5 or 6 undocked camera views (depending upon how many projectors you take to span the 360 degrees and properly set the FOV and zoom for those camera so it span the full 360 degrees with custom camera windows. There are a few FSX users out there doing simpits that are better able to explain the FSX window configuration in detail than I can though.

Anything over 180 degrees in a regular game the camera code is broken. Most games look best at around 120-150 degrees if they support Eyefinity. You can get away with 180 on many of those titles though.
