The card has SLI enabled by default. however, WoW doesn't take advantage of sli. So I don't think this is something I am too concerned about.

It's also a well known issue with WoW to run an SLI setup. Something goes awry and you actually lose FPS over just a single core/single card setup than SLI. Try turning the SLI off on the card if you can and see what you get there.
