Hello all,
I'm new here to the forum and I just setup my TH2Go with 3x dell 2209wa's. My desktop is running at 5040x1050. My unit came with Firmware 2.03.040 which I believe is the latest release as I tried to update the firmware and it gives me a "Invalid Package for the current product. Please select the appropriate package for your Matrox product" error. So I believe my firmware is current. I'm using the beta GXM driver, SGU 2.09 and Nvidia driver WHQL 182.08.
However, I'm having some trouble with the desk top management and more trouble with the first several games I've tried so far. I have a ton of questions but I'll try to keep the first few to a minimum.
Firstly, can anyone give me a screen shot of what options they have checked in the desktop management tool, especially the option that sends all of your minimized tabs to the center screen. I'm not understanding the options very well, even after I've checked each one to try them out as I go. Also, is it possible to make it so the center screen is the main screen that contains the start menu, etc. so that you don't have to move the cursor from the left screen all the way to the right screen?
As far as gaming I started with Bioshock. The max resolution I was able to set was 3840x1024 in game. The screen is extremely stretched. I tried using the FOV hak by Racer_s, but I could not seem to get it to work, or if it was actually running, it didn't feel like it.
I tried COD4 as well. The in game options let me choose 5040x1050 but again the game is extremely stretched with poor FOV. Again I tried the FOV hak (patch 1.02 to 1.06, I think) from racer_s, but I could not seem to get it working. Do do open the .exe and keep it open, then start the game? That's what I did, then I hit the * key and then press either + or - and nothing happens. I also tried standard 4:3 and widescreen 16:9 and 16:10. Any suggestions?
Crysis-warhead only allows for something like 2048x720? Something close to that. ??
Overlord won't even start. ??
I know this is alot to digest and the questions above are quite open-ended, but it's a start. If anyone could help it would be really appreciated. I've poured over the forums and will continue to do so, but direct help is quite welcome.
Thanks. :)
