Hi guys, I just got into beta and the game allows me to set it to 5040 x 1050 no problem, but the FoV in that game is horrendous. Vert - to the extreme.

Feels like in order to get surround gaming to work, the game cuts the top and bottom and pastes it to the sides or something if you guys understand what I am trying to say.

Has anyone out there figured out a fix for this?

Thanks for your time.

its running 1.0 client at the moment so it is missing some of the tweaks...

like keybinds for mouse buttons.

but yeah i hope it gets fixed in the later client but i cant say for sure, runs okay at 1680x1050 and didnt look for dodgy aspects, but i probibly would of noticed it if was stretched

Well since its just a CB kinda hard to say what will be in the end client. Wait for the CB test 5 and see if anything have changed. Because the CBT4 this weekend had the login screen fixed at least for me.

The ignorance of some of the people posting in that thread is humorous. It's like a catchall of the FAQ on WSGF. A lot of silly things like linking a video of AtlasFolder's FAH farm in it too.

They use a modified version of the crytek engine.

They have obviously not changed how different resolutions are treated, go check the comparison screenshots for farcry.

I suggest we all give feedback on this during each of the closed beta events. The more people we get in on this the better. It is simply not acceptable to have such terrible scaling these days. If they could do it for arcade games back in the 80's then they can sure as hell do it now.
