Hello all,

Been reading this forum for a while now and have a question.
I have Trilpleh2go Digital + 3x Philips 220E1SB Monitors and using GTX280 to fire it up.
OS is Vista 64bit using newest Nvidia 195.81 beta drivers.
I have updated the firmware of TripleH2go to the newest version.
I have installed Powerdesk 2.06.

My problem is I can't seem to run 5040x1050. If i do i get blackbars
around my screen. I can however run 4320x900 fine without any blackbars around my screen.

My monitors are VGA tho, but there native resolution is 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz.

I have them connected with VGA > DVI adapter on the TripleH2go.
I did use the DVI cable wich came with the TriplH2go to the GTX280.

Hope anyone got some advice for me cause i really wanne start playing with 5040x1050.
Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Lyrix

What do you mean black bars? Ain't VGA also a severe limitation in regards to running 5040x1050?

In any event, see the stick at the top.

It's pretty hard to explain but i'll try.
When i turn on 5040x1050 i get black borders around my desktop/game. It's like the monitor is out of sync.
But i'm unable to size the image of the monitor to Hor or Ver size.
When i do auto adjust it doesn't help.

From what i'm reading 5040x1050 is the max for VGA so that shouldn't be the problem right?
Also when i changed to Windows 7 64bit i had the same problem with 4320x900.
Switched back to Vista since i didn't get it fixed at all.
2 days later i read the topic you just linked and did it all on Vista.
Still no luck in 5040x1050.

I do not have a Camera or else i could take some pics.

Hi ,

please don't try 4320x900 60HZ 0r 5040x1050 at vga monitor.because matrox can't support VGA timing for widescreen mode.

Best regards!

Strange, 4320x900 60HZ is working fine for me with VGA.
Just 5040x1050 isn't working.
I guess i'll have to Eyefinity soon or buy new monitors. :-/

I mean that your monitor is 19 VGA monitor(1440X900 60HZ).
if your monitor is 22" and use 4320x900 60HZ that it is no problem.
