I have been waiting a long time for this game, downloaded it and ran it on my TH2GO 3 monitor setup and CRASH!

Oh, man, that hurt. I even bought $20 in microsoft points to buy some of the addons.

I guess I'll plug in one monitor and try it there, it's been a long time since I did that.

Wow, that's not great. I haven't tried it yet, I'll have to order both it and X-Plane 10.

It's a free download from www.microsoft.com/games/flight

I had to switch to a single monitor and go to options>graphics>fullscreen (uncheck to off).

Then reboot with TH2GO. So it doesn't crash now, but it looks like the perspective is stretched with the window across all 3 screens, which ruins the visuals.

My first impression is this flight sim is a huge fail, but maybe I can get to the FOV somehow.

Hopefully there is an ini or config file somewhere with a FOV setting in it that you can modify. I'll try downloading it on my Eyefinity rig tonight and have a look.

Thanks, I looked for a config file with no luck.

After a few missions and a free flight I am very impressed with the 3D world, it is striking. The cockpit view has a lousy feel to it that doesn't like it stretch over the 3 screens very well. Gauges are hard to read and don't have a realistic feel, but the visuals of the world you fly through are very inviting, and make me eager to explore. I'm sure it will improve over time, and I hope 3rd party support is as available as it is to FSX, because people will pay to have the fancy navaids and gps screens, and all the complicated things that Flight may be trying to avoid.

I will download it on the 1st (monthly bandwidth caps), but the beta ran great at 6048x1080 out of the box with no tweaks. Running eyefinity, 6950 crossfire.

Config files are located under your user folder in:

Users{your_user}AppDataRoamingMicrosoftFlight

Looking at it now to see what can be done.

So I downloaded the anticipated "FLIGHT." I get to the initial load screen with the "Flight" banner, then all three screens go black. I can see the mouse. If I click anywhere in the screen, it goes directly to my desktop.
Running TH2G Digital Edition and pushing it with 2 GeForce GTX 560Ti running SLI . If anyone comes up with anything, please post it here. I've got a pretty good setup to try it out....

This is FSX.

flight.cfg is formatted syntax much like fsx.cfg. I think that a lot of things are disabled in the engine right now though. Is GFWL a cloud based preference service? I can't seem to get my flight.cfg edits to stick. I tried to enable ground traffic and AI like you can in FSX. The variables are in there.

I have a couple of GTX 295 around, so I pulled the TH2GO and installed them with 3 monitors with span displays using the NVIDIA control panel at 5040x1050.

The graphics are much better, and don't stretch like they did with the TH2GO. Strange, because it is the same resolution.
