Ah well. Thanks for the reply. Back to a reinstall without the patch - using his FOV and your text patch! Fantastic. Thanks again for your work on this I really appreciate it...

No solution in the tweak guide ... but there is a link back to the WSGF and the original solution I posted about the Racer_S fix for widescreen ... :(

The solution is now updated with a new FOV hack that works with the Retail Patch v1.0001 ... :D

Hey guys ...
I modified the HUD to suit TripleHead better ... :D
It's not perfect but it is a darn sight better than having it all stretched on the side screens ...

Only tested at 3840x2024 with everything at maximum.

Before ...



After ...


I had to remove the box around the weapons because I couldn't find a way to stop the weapon/ammo icons from stretching.
Because of this stretching I also moved them so they appear on the right hand screen ... just to the right of the bezel.
Which enabled me to move the health and armour indicators down to the bottom.

Also ...
As you can see the status icons (such as eat/radiation/bleeding etc.) that appear on the right screen are still on the right screen.
This is because I can't find a way to move the icons to the centre screen.

And the PDA popup and its info are still on the left screen.
This is because I can't find a way to move all of it so I felt it was best left where it was.

To install ...
Download this ... Centre Screen HUD.rar

Assuming you already have the TH Text Fix ...
Copy the contents of the ... ui ... folder from the .rar into the ...
C:Program FilesTHQS.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobylgamedataconfigui ... folder.

That is it ... enjoy ... :D

Let me know if you find any problems and I'll see what I can do.
I hope you like it ... 8)

Hey, this is awesome ! :) HUD modding for TH2G is just what I'd love to be able to do for Doom3...

Tested this on my 1.00006 game, it first crashed at startup: after patiently testing one new file at a time I discovered message_box.xml is the cause, so I just didn't unrar it.

4 years later, lol...dusted off SoC and want to play it and the STALKER COMPLETE mod on 3x24" monitors using eyefinity.
Encountering a stretched out HUD and text, tried the fixes posted in this thread (which are pre-patch 1.05) and now the game won't load.

Can anyone suggest any current fixes that make the game play nice with Eyefinity?
