just got home and tried it..

with triplehead on at 4320x900 it runs like a SLIDESHOW :(

I have to set everything to low just to get about 15-20 fps.

but at 1650x1050 (no AA + 16xAF) it runs butter smooth.

strange engine as UT3 runs butter smooth at 4320x900 with all eyecandy on

yes there are bugs with the game using that resolution, it looks weird

thanks for all the support :P

would be nice if i could fix the menus though, i have a feeling thats why the game looks strange and goes slow

there are a lot of other games I wish worked now, lots of crashing lately :D

Settings:
Res: 5040x1050
Aspect: 4.8
FOV: 0.013500

Works with v1.0 only for the moment.

Download Mirrors Edge FOV Hack v1.0
Thanks Racer_S. Damnably I have will have it on STEAM and I'll try and stop the patch. Hopefully you'll have luck with the patched version?

I hope you are enjoying your TH rig :triplewide

- What's new in v1.1 on 1/17/09 ?
* Added v1.01 Patch Support
* Tried to fix some Menu bugs

Download from same link as before or here:
Download Mirrors Edge FOV Hack v1.1

Not sure about this game.. either my hack needs more work or the game needs to be properly patched by the devs :P I did manage to get this working by editing the Engine.u file and the game seemed to run smoother? Doesn't make sense but thats where the default aspect value is coming from but this seems more convenient.

I should do another broken game before nights end.

um i have a 9800gt oc 1gb and i can run it at 5040x1050 high / high

no aa

26fps outside
35+ inside

runs great on my card q6600 + 2gb ram + 9800gt 1gb oc 700core

ur 9800gx2 should kill it?

i'm using 178.13 drivers xp32

btw GAME IS FRIKEN AWESOME IT'S AMAZING AT 5040X1050 AMZAGGGGGGINNNNNNNNZZZZ
only problem is aa turned on at 5040x1050 will require over 1gb ram else it will crash :P + there are reflection issues with the racer s patch but other than that it's perfect!!!

I installed it, changed the resolution to 5040x1050 and now the game is crashing, i cannot get past the splashscreen. I've tried turning off PhysX and it's still crashing. I figure its a problem with this resolution but i cannot get back ingame to change it, nor can i find a config file where i could edit the resolution back to 1680x1050. When your saying you need at least 1GB of memory, is that video memory or just memory in general?
