Hey everybody, first post here, although I have been using the forum for reference for a while now.

Recently, I made the mistake of downloading Nvidia's most recent Graphics driver, and all of my widescreen presets went kaput. I followed the information from the official thread for fixing the inability to run in 5040 by 1050, and that has solved most of my problems.

So, on to the problem. In Call of Duty 4, I have it set to my proper resolution(5040x1050), but the image is stretched with all of the provided aspect ratios in the game. (Standard 4:3, Wide 16:10, and Wide 16:9)

Has anybody found a solution to this?

:)

It won't work online, but it works great for single-player.

Worked perfectly. Now I just need a patch for multiplayer, because I tend to play that more often.

Thanks for the find on that one.

That's not a find; It's actually my software. ;)

There isn't a way to make it work online yet.

I have something I may release later that people can test.

I haven't finished up v1.1 support for single player of CoD:WaW yet, but I do have the v1.1 multiplayer working. I may just release that in its current state with an attempt to let MP work.

OMG!

Thank you so much dopefish!

I only have three games I care about..

COD4, COD5, and IL2

And from what I am reading your software will fix my COD5 problem online..

And sounds like your working on the COD4 online problem!

And from your link.. It looks like your software might work on IL2!

I wont have time to try it until this weekend!

Either way!

Thanks a mill!

Grant

I don't have support for IL2. I still need to look into that game.

Dang..

Well it is an older game.. but still very popular in the flight sim world.

But it is a small world relatively speaking..

Still thanks for considering it!

Hey dopefish!

Wanted to give you some feedback on the COD5 Widescreen Fixer..

I noticed that all the menu stuff works..

except for the online quick refresh, refresh, etc buttons..

You can click them but nothing happens..

Now..

Also keep in mind I had some issues with my TH2G..

It was working in that I got 3 screens up and running..

But my "Matrox Powerdesk SE" software was never deting my TH2G box..

Thus the Matrox Powerdesk SE software was always trying to do the initial setup.. It never got past that point to config things like Bezel management..

Also

With regards to IL2

How much of a donation would you need to make it worth your time to just do servery of it to see if it is even doable?

In that I would be willing to help fund something like that if it was not too expensive

Yeah, the game seems to handle menus weird at times. If you need to, just disable the fix quickly when you're in the menu and re-enable it when you get in game. I'm not sure if that trick works because I don't have a TH setup.

As for IL2, I'll look into it. I looked into it once before but had some difficulty because of the engine it uses. I'll check it out again, though.
